The Graduate in Training opportunity at Eskom Distribution is an internship based in Polokwane under the LimLanga Cluster, designed for two candidates to undergo a structured training programme within the Commercial Sections of the Business Enablement Department. This role offers exposure to procurement, sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement processes. It aims to equip graduates with practical experience in commercial operations while aligning with Eskom’s strategic goals in the electricity, energy, and water supply sector. The programme emphasizes teamwork, responsibility, and professional development in a dynamic and safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes and follow prescribed procedures towards fulfilling procurement needs
• Execute purchases of goods and services and manage procurement administration
• Negotiate and coordinate conclusion of agreement with suppliers to meet customer expectations
• Perform dual adjudication of tenders and management of contracts or purchase orders within set policies and standards
• Access and analyse procurement information independently
• Use own discretion to manage problems or risks and make recommendations timeously
• Build and maintain healthy interpersonal and inter-team relationships

Qualifications

• B Comm at NQF7 with 360 credits
• B Degree Supply Chain Management at NQF7 with 360 credits
• B Degree Commerce at NQF7 with 360 credits
• B Degree Logistics at NQF7 with 360 credits
• B Degree Transport at NQF7 with 360 credits
• No work experience required
